ABOUT

Lydia Sax is a London based Theatre Director. She is the current Artistic Director of the OSO Arts Centre.

Her recent credits include 'Once Upon a Bridge' (OSO Arts Centre), 'Relativity' (Upstairs at the Gatehouse), 'Sabbath: A Tragedy of Witches' (OSO Arts Centre), 'Text & Delete' (OSO Arts Centre, Kings Head Theatre, Etcetera Theatre) and 'A Hundred Words for Snow' (OSO Arts Centre). She is currently working on revival of Neil Anthony Docking's 'The Revlon Girl,' and Andrew Bovell's 'Things I Know to be True.'

Under her tenure at the OSO, Lydia has dedicated herself to providing opportunities for other artists, building a vibrant community through her Youth Theatre, Writers Scheme, Networking Events, Scratch Nights, Actors' Studio, and Artist in Residence initiatives. Her seasons have attracted the largest audience numbers in the theatre's history. 

Lydia trained in MA Theatre Directing at East 15.
